religion is school my opinion

The teaching or having religion in school can be an interesting class because in my point of view I love learning new things. If it was a class but other than that, it’s just ignorant because we had a case in Devon Pennsylvania where the majority of the population of the area fought against the teaching of evolution in schools but instead tried to teach creationism. Creationism is really based on the bible and the people were ignorant of what was going on because the case ended up as a federal case. The people of Devon was trying to start a new way of trying to convert other beliefs that god was the only way man was made.

 

  I was very shocked of this case because the case hit federal and in the case they changed the name from creationism to intelligent design but it was still base on the bible. The way the Devon people tried to sneak religion in our school system was very annoying cause they knew the case wouldn’t past cause nothing is science about the bible but religion. If the case did pass they would be teaching intelligent design in schools around the U.S.

 

 The case was unconstitutional because in one of the amendment it stated that religion must be separated from state. If was taught in school I wouldn’t even come to school because I know my beliefs and my culture. If I was to be a good boy and choose to stay in class to learn the lesson of intelligent design I would feel like an out cast because I know nothing of this topic and majority of my class mates are Christian or Catholic.
