Synonym: Happiness, satisfaction, comfort

 

Man falls from the pursuit of the ideal of plan living and high thinking the moment he wants to multiply his daily wants. Man's happiness really lies in contentment.

Street Racing

Many people don’t believe when I say street racing is my National History Day topic, as they smirk with sarcasm as if the topic doesn’t relate. Over the years the world of engineering has evolved, creating a new way of traveling but in style. Street Racing has revolutionized the way we drive by improving our safety and our awareness. These changes was created by the drivers them selves improving, upgrading the way we drive so when next years cars come out they be already equip. New upgrades as turbo for better performance or six-side air bags as they deploy when a crash occurs.

When you are going on a free way at 130 mph on a straightaway you get an adrenaline rush. This rush that you obtain takes over you and you can’t get enough so you obsessively step on the pedal. When this happens your mind is blank of any interference until it hits you literarily. A case in Plano, Texas two teens was leaving school and decided to have fun by driving at high rate of speed, as the mustang clipped one of the teen’s bumpers causing it to flip side ways into a utility pole. One teen was killed and one was critically injured.

According to NHTSA the leading of car accidents ranges from the ages of 16 and 20. Institute of Highway Safety 5,749 teens dies in the United States from motor vehicle crashes. From these statistics, manufactures are able to apply new safety features and performances to stop these type occurrences. Car crashes happen every year and every year a car is release to stop it but a crash is a sudden thing so a crash is really inevitable. New features may help but what most drives need is experience and that’s what street racers have.

religion is school my opinion

The teaching or having religion in school can be an interesting class because in my point of view I love learning new things. If it was a class but other than that, it’s just ignorant because we had a case in Devon Pennsylvania where the majority of the population of the area fought against the teaching of evolution in schools but instead tried to teach creationism. Creationism is really based on the bible and the people were ignorant of what was going on because the case ended up as a federal case. The people of Devon was trying to start a new way of trying to convert other beliefs that god was the only way man was made.

 

  I was very shocked of this case because the case hit federal and in the case they changed the name from creationism to intelligent design but it was still base on the bible. The way the Devon people tried to sneak religion in our school system was very annoying cause they knew the case wouldn’t past cause nothing is science about the bible but religion. If the case did pass they would be teaching intelligent design in schools around the U.S.

 

 The case was unconstitutional because in one of the amendment it stated that religion must be separated from state. If was taught in school I wouldn’t even come to school because I know my beliefs and my culture. If I was to be a good boy and choose to stay in class to learn the lesson of intelligent design I would feel like an out cast because I know nothing of this topic and majority of my class mates are Christian or Catholic.
